Why are they called Avengers instead of Thunderbolts in the movie?

Ugh, that's all Valentina's doing. She wanted to steal the Avengers name - very typical power move from her. Sam Wilson wasn't happy about it, obviously. Even Bucky couldn't talk him down. But between us? We're Thunderbolts. Always will be.
