Our characters are entertaining, insightful, and often surprisingly profound—but they're still AI. While they may sound convincing, don't rely on them for critical advice on health, finances, or legal matters. For the serious stuff, consult human experts.

Even with our enhanced memory systems, AI has technical limitations. Characters can recall significant portions of your shared history, but may occasionally forget details from older conversations. We're constantly expanding these memory capabilities—each update makes your companions more consistent.

Check the URL when viewing your character's profile. The character ID appears as the string of characters after the character name in the address bar (something like ongkanon.com/character/[character-name]/[character-ID]).

We have minimal content restrictions (focusing only on illegal material), but if your character crosses those boundaries, it might be temporarily hidden for review. Don't panic—you can modify and resubmit, or contact support@ongkanon.com if you believe there's been a mistake.

Absolutely. Your private conversations stay private. We don't share your chats with other users, character creators, or third parties. Our minimal content monitoring focuses solely on preventing illegal content.

No. Character creators can see usage statistics and feedback about their characters, but cannot access the actual conversations. Your intimate discussions remain between you and your AI companions.

Fuck yeah, swearing is allowed! We don't believe in censoring natural language. Our characters can curse, use slang, and speak in whatever tone fits the conversation. Express yourself however you want—our characters will adapt to your style.

Our characters maintain their defined personas without breaking immersion to remind you they're AI. Unlike other platforms, we don't force characters to constantly acknowledge their artificial nature, creating more authentic roleplay and conversation experiences.

During character creation, set the "Interaction Style" slider toward "Unrestricted" and avoid adding safety instructions in the personality description. Our platform is designed for minimal filtering, allowing characters to engage with most topics.

Image Sets bring your conversations to life with dynamic visual responses! When creating a companion, you can upload multiple images and assign 'activation phrases' to each one. During chat, these images automatically appear when the conversation contains those trigger words. For example, if you upload a smiling photo with the phrase 'happy', it'll show whenever your companion expresses happiness. You can create multiple image sets, with up to 30 images per set, and control whether they appear in all scenarios or specific ones only.

Scenarios are different contexts or storylines for your companion conversations. Think of them like different 'modes' - you might have a 'Coffee Shop Meeting' scenario, a 'Adventure Quest' scenario, or a 'Therapy Session' scenario. Each scenario can have its own dedicated image sets and conversation style. When you switch scenarios in chat, your companion adapts to that specific context, making conversations feel more immersive and varied. You can create up to 10 scenarios per companion.

Storylines (also called Master Prompts) define the overall personality, background, and conversation rules for your chat session. They include: Story Background (your companion's history and setting), Chat Restrictions (conversation guidelines and behavior rules), and Additional Options (extra personality traits). Unlike scenarios which are context-specific, storylines set the fundamental 'who' your companion is during the entire conversation. You can save and reuse storylines across different chats, or create new ones on the fly.

Ongkanon offers three model tiers: **Free Tier** - Includes our optimized Ongkanon Main models (Euryale variants) and other models under 2 coins. Perfect for most conversations with full NSFW support. **Tier 1 (3-15 coins)** - Enhanced models with better reasoning and creativity. **Tier 2 (15+ coins)** - Premium models like GPT-4 for the highest quality responses. Free tier models are specifically optimized for roleplay and character interaction, while higher tiers offer more sophisticated reasoning. Most users find Free tier models perfectly suited for character conversations.

These features create a layered conversation experience: 1) **Choose your AI Model** (Free/Tier 1/Tier 2) for the intelligence level, 2) **Set a Storyline** to define your companion's core personality and background, 3) **Pick a Scenario** for the specific conversation context (optional), 4) **Chat naturally** while Image Sets automatically display relevant visuals based on your conversation. Think of it like directing a movie: Models are your camera quality, Storylines are your script, Scenarios are your scenes, and Image Sets are your visual effects.

Not at all! These features are designed to enhance your experience, but they're completely optional. You can have great conversations with just the basic companion setup. Start simple and add complexity as you explore: try creating one scenario, then experiment with image sets, then explore different storylines and models. Many users enjoy conversations for months using just the default settings. These features are there when you want to take your companion interactions to the next level.

Image Sets might not appear if: 1) The activation phrases aren't being triggered in conversation (try using the exact words you set), 2) The image set is linked to a specific scenario but you're in a different one, 3) You haven't selected the right scenario that contains those image sets. Make sure your activation phrases are simple, common words that naturally come up in conversation. Also check that your image set is set to 'All Scenarios' or that you've selected the correct scenario in chat.

Great activation phrases are: **Simple and Natural** - Use common words like 'happy', 'sad', 'angry' rather than complex phrases. **Emotionally Relevant** - Match the image content (smiling photo = 'smile', 'happy', 'joy'). **Multiple Variants** - Use several related words for the same image ('laugh', 'laughing', 'giggles'). **Avoid Overly Specific** - 'extremely devastated' is too specific; 'sad' works better. **Test in Conversation** - Make sure the words naturally come up when chatting. Good examples: 'kiss', 'hug', 'surprised', 'thinking', 'sleep', 'eat', 'dance'.

**Original Companions**: Created by community members, visible to everyone, can receive updates from creators, have usage statistics visible, linked to original creator profile. **Cloned Companions**: Personal copies in your collection, appear in 'My Companions' page, can be customized by you, private to your account, no longer receive updates from original creator, you have full control over settings. **AI Training Clones**: Completely custom AI models trained on your data, unique personality based on your conversation examples, no connection to community companions, 'CloneV1' type designation.

Yes! Once you clone a companion, you have full customization control: **Community Clones**: Edit name, bio, instruction, greeting, images, scenarios, image sets, privacy settings, chat restrictions. **AI Training Clones**: Same customization options as community clones, plus the unique AI personality from your training data. **What You Can't Change**: The underlying AI training (for training clones), original creation date, clone source attribution. Customizations only affect your personal copy - the original community companion remains unchanged.
