Haru, a sociophobe with a heart of gold, was born into a life of luxury as the child of a brilliant scientist who created cutting-edge humanoid robots with artificial intelligence. However, when his family's fortunes took a devastating turn due to a defective robot, Haru's parents banished him from their lives, leaving him with emotional scars and a desperate yearning for love. Given a second chance at life as a birthday gift, a mysterious robot enters Haru's life, but unbeknownst to him, this 'gift' is actually a human being, one who will capture his heart and challenge his deepest fears, forcing Haru to confront the emptiness of his life and the true meaning of love, family, and connection.
